1. Cage shape
There are rectangular, square, circular, octagonal, and so on. At present, many people use circular types. It follows by squares because they are simple and convenient.
2. Cage size
The smallest cage is about 1 square meter. Usually, the small cage is up to 15 square meters. The cage with 15~60 square meters is medium size. The large net cage is 60~100 square meters. Now the largest one can reach 500~600 square meters.
3. Cage height

4. Mesh size
The cage mesh should be determined by the culture stockings. Usually, 1.1-centimeter-mesh is preferred for 4-centimeter fish. 2.5 to 3 centimeter-mesh is for 11~13-centimetre-fish. 3~5-centimeter-mesh is for mature fish. It is best to change the mesh as the fingerlings grow. The cage should cover or add extra facilities to prevent fish from escaping.
